What is IAHRS?

IAHRS stands for the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons. It is a consumer organization that is dedicated to supporting the highest standards of the practice, ethics, and research in the field of hair restoration surgery. The IAHRS is known for its selective membership criteria, only accepting hair restoration surgeons who meet certain qualifications and demonstrate a strong track record of successful patient outcomes.

The organization aims to help potential patients make informed decisions by providing access to experienced and trusted practitioners in the field of hair restoration. Ultimately, the IAHRS seeks to promote quality and ethical practices in hair restoration surgery, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

London-based Hair Transplant Surgeon Dr Manish Mittal Member of IAHRS, MB ChB has built up his excellent reputation in various Harley Street Clinics as well as high-end private practises across the UK.

He currently treats patients in WC1 London, and Manchester. He has gone onto discreetly treated many high-profile celebrities and influencers using his signature techniques and methods. With only one client per day Dr Mani ensures he is hands on, only taking on one individual hair transplant case, and a personal interest in every single client.

Known to his patients as Dr Mani, he is regarded as one of the best in the world, particularly in natural outcomes and high-density packing to restore the thickness of lost hair.

Dr Mani began his career working with some of the most prestigious clinics on Harley Street in London, an international hub of excellence for all things medically related. He got to experience the expertise of surgeons worldwide, from the USA, Australia, Turkey and India. After learning what works best from all those he worked under, Dr Mani now has his signature methods of doing a refined hair transplant procedure, which means unless he is happy at the end of the procedure, nobody leaves the room until he says we're finished.

Dr Mani has amalgamated his love of science and art in this nuanced field as it's not just technical ability but visualising and having foresight in the long term and how the hairs will eventually grow.

Dr Mani likes to focus on one patient per day. He has learnt from working with other more "commercial" clinics that do multiple surgeries with one surgeon don't always give patients the time they should receive. Not only that, it is a highly challenging procedure; controlling fatigue is essential with things done at microscopic levels. By focusing on one patient, he can maintain high levels of concentration, be hands-on throughout the procedure, and ensure the optimum delivery of results. This is relayed by his case studies and the streams of five-star reviews seen on google, trustpilot.

Dr Mani prefers performing highly refined FUE and mature hairline procedures whilst offering strip (FUT surgery) where needed, but more than 95% of his practice and love lie in the art of FUE hair transplant surgery. This method can be used for hair restoration on the scalp, eyebrows or face in terms of a beard hair transplant.

After graduating and completing his medical training at the University of Leicester, Dr Manish Mittal has worked through various surgical specialities, allowing him to gain a good grasp on handling delicate skin tissue.

He has successfully treated over 1000 patients and boasts a lower than 1% failure rate for hair restoration procedures.

Dr Mani has been endorsed by; The International Alliance of hair restoration surgeons, a consumer organisation working with the top 60 or so surgeons worldwide. Dr Mani is proud that he is only one of 2 full members in the UK. The American Hair Loss Association and The Bald Truth have recommended him.

Because of his expertise in the industry, he is frequently nominated for awards and is the go-to guy for expert opinions when national journalists need a quote. Because of his stature in the industry, he talks at hair transplant meetings, educating other surgeons, but he has patients from all over the world to come and see him, both for hair transplants for men and hair transplant for women.
